Event Description: This Camp to study the Constitution and our founding fathers is a free non-political event hosted by the Elizabeth Crockett Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Granbury, Texas. It is designed to utilize community resources: buildings, historical groups, local and state officials, and government entities. With the help of the Sons of the American Revolution and others, members of the local DAR will provide fun learning experiences in a day camp setting for students , teen helpers, adult volunteers, plus special guests including George Washington, Ben Franklin, and more. I have tried to call several times but I am unable to reach anybody. Please let me know if you are interested in having her help.

Miriam, We are looking forward to Kaithlyn (Is that correct?) as one of our teenage helpers at Constitution Camp June 19-23 8:45-noon.
Hi Peggy,
Is Granbury the only place having this Constitution Camp? I would be interested in bringing my granddaughter, pending any other plans they have, but I live in Grand Prairie, and she lives in Waxahachie. Granbury is a pretty good drive and I’m guessing it’s a week long, but perhaps it’s not. Tell Dickey Bob I said “Hi”. Susan your quiltmaker.
Hi, we would love to have her. But you want to come on Friday with her for the Picnic. Great fun.
Call 214–675–5752
Should the families bring anything Friday for the picnic? Thanks!
Hi! Do they need to bring a sack lunch for Friday? Do they need to plan to get wet or have any other particular dressing requirements on a particular day? Thanks!
Should the families bring food or snacks for the picnic on Friday? Should the kids bring a water bottle each day? Thanks!
I was very pleased to find out about your program. I am the director of Camp Constitution which runs a week long overnight family camp, a weekend camp, and other year round events. Our week long program has incorporared the Patriot Camp program for our younger children. We have a DAR member who teaches a portion of the program.
How wonderful to hear from you. I hope to share ideas with you. Overnight, family camp sounds wonderful. We are getting into the public schools since we are the DAR and work to keep our day camp non-political. Email me ConstitutionCamp@gmail.com
Where is this held? I am in California. My boys would love this!!
This is in Granbury, Texas. We are dedicated to keeping it non-political and would love to share our concept with a DAR chapter in your area. Let me know if we can help your area DAR host a camp in your area.
